NoCd-Cracks
The use of NoCD-cracks is completely legal, provided the user is in the possession of the original CD's or DVD's
The law states that everybody is allowed to make 1 copy of his/her original software for personal use.
Maxis and EA Games however protected their games against copying and as a result a copy of an original CD/DVD cannot be used for playing the game.
If your own CD/DVD is damaged, which is quite likely in the long run, as it must be present in your computer every time you play the game, you must be able to use your own private copy.
Nevertheless, Maxis/EA Games consider the use of a NoCD-crack as an infringement on their copyright.
I disagree with their point of view, reason why I make these cracks available to anyone owning the original disks.
A NoCD crack gives you the possibilty to:
a. prevent your original disks from damage
b. to install and play the game without the use of your expensive originals

How to install a NoCD crack
1. Download the crack for your expansion pack - see below
2. Unzip it with winrar
3. Click mouse-right on the unzipped file
4. Choose Copy
5. Select in MY Computer the disk where you installed The Sims, usually drive C:
6. Select Program Files and click it open
7. Select EA Games and click it open (with stories select Electronic Arts)
8. Select Sims2-Name expansion pack and click it open
9. Select TSBin and click it open
10. Select Paste

Overwrite - Yes
The crack is now installed and you should be able to play the Sims without a CD?DVD in your computer
Sims Deluxe: = Sims Basic + Nightlife
The download consists of 2 cracks, 1 for the basics and 1 for Nightlife. Please install them both in their appropriate directories
Note: When you have Mansion & Garden installed, you ALWAYS have to play with that DVD or NoCD-crack !
