SIMSHELP - SIMS 1 -  CHEATWINDOW

You open the cheat-window by pressing both CTRL and SHIFT at the same time and then, whilst holding down these keys, type C

Some people experience great difficulties in this and that is why I suggest following:
1. Press with the thumb of your left hand on CTRL and keep it down
2. With the indexfinger of your left hand press SHIFT and hold it down
3. Press with the indexfinger of your right hand on C
4. Release all keys

When you've done it correctly, a greenish window will appear in the left hand top-side of your screen.

In this window you can type certain instructions (cheats), followed by <Enter>.
To close the screen Type Exit and <Enter>

Practise this a couple of times ! You will have to use it frequently

NOTE:
When you are the proud owner of a HP computer, the key-combination Control+Shift+C might be occupied already by an in-built programm HP Health Check.
You can solve this problem: Search for HP Health - if you can't find it, use Start->Search en type HP Health.  Rightclick on it, Select Properties and change the combination CTRL+SHIFT+C in CTRL+SHIFT+W. Click on Apply and OK
